What is a Practice-A-Thon?

​

• Practice-A-Thon is an annual event administered by the Music Student Service League-Torrance Branch (MSSL-TB) to help people in need beyond our community with the power of music.  Students practice earning money from their sponsors and donate the funds to organizations to provide support.

• Students practice to earn money from their sponsors from January 16-31st, 2026

• Donors can opt to give a flat donation amount or donate per minute practiced

• This year, MSSL-TB held our annual Practice-A-Thon to raise funds and donate to the California Fire Foundation to help provide wildfire and disaster relief to victims across our state.

• Any student of an MTAC Torrance Branch teacher can participate in this event - there is no age limit as well.

• The Torrance Branch will award 5-hour service credit to those who practiced minimum of 5 hours during the event.
